Yes, we were at the same site last month, but it’s a great area so we’ll pick some different trails to walk or run along, and will still use that lovely river.
Please sign in when you arrive:
- Members please remember to mark the registration sheet.
- Guests fill in kids’ details (plus a phone number) on the guest sheet, and pay the guest fees of RM10 per kid.
and PLEASE remember to sign out when you get back from the trail, so we know that nobody is lost. It’s very tempting to jump straight into the stream when you get back, and sit there for three hours, but please sign out first!
As usual, we will have hot-dogs after the run, and drinks for the young and the old, so don’t forget to bring some change.
Directions
The parking is near a small Hindu temple, set among the buildings of a long-abandoned palm oil estate, close to a river.
So we park at the top, and then you can walk forward and follow the track left down to a river crossing, where we plan to set up the registration desk, hotdog/drinks stall and do the circle.
As with most run-sites, it’s easy to get there if you let Waze or Google Maps help you navigate.
The last 3 or 4km is on a track – mostly concrete or tarmac, and suitable for any town car.
