Run # 527, 5th July @ Serendah Recreational Waterfall

December 8, 2025 by hashadmin Leave a Comment

Run-site: Serendah Recreational Waterfall
Travel Time: about an hour, or maybe less
Date: Sunday 5th July, 2026
Hares: Sam Botak (Katy & Mary)
Co-Hares: TDB
Registration: 1:20 onwards
Run Starts at: 2:00 pm

Expect a nice walk and a great waterfall to play in.

The run-site is a popular area for picnics and water fun, so we definitely won’t have it to ourselves, unless there’s a thunderstorm 🙂
There used to be toilets – not sure about now (?).

Please find the KLJHHH registration desk and sign in when you arrive:

  • Members please remember to mark the registration sheet.
  • Guests fill in kids’ details (plus a phone number) on the guest sheet, and pay the guest fees of RM10 per kid.

and PLEASE remember to sign out when you get back from the trail, so we know that nobody is lost. It’s very tempting to jump straight into the water when you get back, and sit there for three hours, but please sign out first!

As usual, we will have hot-dogs after the run, and drinks for the young and the old, so don’t forget to bring some change.

Directions

The parking area is roughly at 3.366315,101.636932 – use one of the icons below or ask Waze to take you to ‘Serendah Recreational Waterfall’ / ‘Rekreasi Air Terjun Serendah’.

For most of us, the best way to get to Serendah is via the Rawang Bypass – the elevated ‘roller coaster’ road that all the kids love.
Then go most of the way through Serendah town and turn right at traffic lights onto Jalan Dato Harun, before turning left and following a winding road to the waterfall area.
