Membership

11207371_669524133191004_8845289809602295558_nAny family can join the KL Junior Hash House Harriers, with a good mix of Malaysians and expats from all over the world. There is no minimum age limit — there are parents who carry babies on their backs! Just read the run directions and turn up – apart from a few special runs (e.g. Christmas) you don’t need to register in advance. You can either join us as a Guest for each Run (Guest fees are RM10 per child), or choose to apply for membership (RM120 per child per year with a one-time RM10 registration fee). There is no charge for Parents/Adults!

The advantages of KLJHHH membership are:

  • freebie on joining, renewal and sometimes other special occasions
  • members’ runs count towards awards for every 12 runs completed (so 12, 24, 36, …)
  • members are given free or discounted rates at events (e.g. Christmas party)
  • you support the Junior Hash!

Experienced members will also be encouraged to help set a run.

Our financial/membership year runs from January to December. For those joining after March, a reduced subscription is payable.

Existing members can renew their membership each year by transferring the subscription amount to our CIMB account number 8007783962 – please put your family name as the reference in the transfer, and then email the payment confirmation to onsec.kljhhh@gmail.com.

There is no need for an invitation or for pre-registration (except for special events like our Christmas party) – just show up to the run site (please aim to arrive at least 20 minutes before the run starts!), try it once or twice as a guest, and then join us!

Note that the KLJHHH is an ENTIRELY non-profit organisation that is comprised and run by volunteer, like-minded parents that just want to provide a fun and enjoyable outlet for our kids.

Also note that you are responsible for your kids while at a run – unlike schools or the Scouts, we don’t take over responsibility, and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

KL Junior Hash House Harriers

The Kuala Lumpur Junior Hash House Harriers meet for their Hash Runs on the first Sunday of each month. The activity is intended as a family outing patterned along the lines of the traditional Hash Runs but oriented towards young participants.

Never Miss Another Run

We'll keep you up to date with all upcoming runs and how to reach the runsite
